Leslie Macli is a bilingual Cuban American producer, director, and writer with over two decades of experience collaborating with international crews and productions. Before founding Run Fox Run, she served as Director of Development and Production for Viacom (MTV & Nickelodeon), where she managed over 300 hours of original content tailored for U.S. and Latin American audiences.
In 2020, Leslie partnered with The North Face to produce the documentary Shepherd’s Song, which premiered at Mountainfilm in Telluride and screened at over twenty festivals across the U.S. The following year, she worked on Havana Libre, a documentary highlighting a Cuban community’s efforts to legitimize surfing. The film premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival and was showcased internationally, with a notable screening in Cuba alongside the cast.
Her recent work includes a series of branded projects for Amazon that explore community, social issues, and impactful innovation. This year she also collaborated on commercial work for Walmart and Hello Bello and has a documentary feature film currently in development.
Leslie’s unique perspective, rooted in her deep understanding of U.S. and Latin American cultures and her training as a mental health counselor, informs her commitment to elevating diverse voices in storytelling.
